Medieval and Renaissance Studies
General Editor
SARAH KAY FBA
Department of French and Italian
Princeton University
This recently
established series, which concentrated initially on the medieval
period and now expands to include Renaissance topics, aims to
provide a forum for the best current work in French studies. Preference will be given to works written in English
but publication in French is not excluded. The series will be
open to monographs of 80,000 words and over, and to volumes of
collected essays of similar length with a clear unifying theme.
There will be no restriction on subject matter within the area
of medieval and Renaissance French studies, although literary
studies will be particularly welcome.
Proposals or queries should be sent in the first instance to
Sarah Kay, or to Ellie Ferguson (Managing Editor Gallica,
Boydell & Brewer) at the addresses below. All submissions will
receive prompt and informed consideration.
