  1861, 21 October Apollo Korzeniowski imprisoned in Warsaw by Russian police for his underground patriotic activities.
  1862, 9 May The Korzeniowskis are sentenced to exile and sent under escort to northern Russia.
  1865, 18 April Ewa Korzeniowska dies of tuberculosis.
  1868, January Apollo Korzeniowski, seriously ill, is reprieved and leaves Russia with his son.
