	The Society was founded in 1958 to encourage the study and preservation of Suffolk records, and to publish editions of documents relating to Suffolk and its people in all periods from the Middle Ages to the present day. By joining the Society you are furthering the work of providing Suffolk records in print for the use of professional and amateur historians all over the world.
